Teaching grammar creates a lot of problems.

The grammar of the Polish language is really very difficult and we, hearing people, usually don’t realize it. The question of teaching methods is researched and developed, but only for hearing impaired, adult foreigners or Polish immigrants (eg students). Polish language courses for the deaf have appeared at the University of Wroclaw, but are aimed only at adults.

Nobody cared about how to learn Polish grammar for a hearing impaired child starting school! For example, suppose a teacher wants to lead a fall activity. Introduces a noun inflection. For example, the word leaf would be perfect . However, the variation of the word introduces the student not only to the world of rules, but also to exceptions to them, and this should not be the order. In the choice of grammar exercises, it is not only the relationship with the text in question that cannot be decisive.

The teaching grammar should be structured taking into account linguistic and methodological knowledge. If any of the scientists wanted to deal with it, I invite and help you as a thirst for knowledge of practices.  BW: What texts would you like to discuss with your students?AB: I am in favor of introducing an appropriate reading canon. I have already told you how I introduce students to the generally understood world of literature, culture and values.

Perhaps other Polish scholars will criticize me, but I do not hide the fact that my students watch the film adaptations in the classroom, as in normal schools, hearing students do it (I know), because they are unable to read some of the reading.  The core curriculum for teaching Polish is not focused on teaching, but on improving the Polish language and is aimed at students who already know this language.
