The reduced fee is applicable to one Delegate from each FNSF Member Organisation, to all Honorary and individual members.

• Applicable to those countries defined as developing countries by the WFD. See the list of WFD approved Developing Countries

⁽⁴⁾ Senior (over 65 years old) registration
• A copy of your passport will be required. Without this, the full registration fee will be charged.

• Students must be studying full time to qualify for discounted rate. A copy of your student identification card is required when you submit your registration

CHILDREN'S PROGRAM

CHILDREN'S REGISTRATION FEE
Children's registration (4 days: from 24 to 27 July)	120 €

• The children's activities are open to children from 6 to 14 years old (children under 6 years old are not allowed to participate). At least one parent must be registered for the congress

• Reservations are limited.

• The organisers reserve the right to cancel activities if less than 16 participants register.

• The child's date of birth and copy of passport will be requested during the registration process.

All activities will be conducted in International Sign (IS) and French Sign Language (LSF)
Children will be under the supervision of qualified and experienced professionals.
All tours depart from and return to the Congress Centre
Transportation and meals are included

REGISTRATION PROCESS

Access to all Congress activities is subject to registration.
Participants are encouraged to register in advance and as early as possible in order to benefit from lower registration (early bird fees), wider optional activities and a larger selection of hotels.
You can register online via this secure server by paying with your credit card (VISA, MASTERCARD, EUROCARD, AMERICAN EXPRESS) or by bank transfer.
After payment clearance, the Congress Office will email you an electronic invoice confirming all registration and accommodation details and payment status.

Before starting your registration, be sure you are ready to provide the following information:

1) Your special WFD 2019 registration code, if you are:

registering as a WFD Member
registering as a FNSF Member
registering as a Youth Camp participant

2) A copy of your passport or ID card, if you are:

going to request a visa invitation letter
registering as a participant from a developing country, as a senior delegate or as a youth delegate.

3) A copy of your child(ren)’s passport(s), if you are:

going to register your child(ren) for the children's activity program

VISA INVITATION LETTER

A customised invitation letter for visa purposes is only available for participants with a confirmed and fully paid registration.
The letter is intended to help participants raise travel funds or obtain a visa but does not imply the WFD will provide financial support.
In case of a visa request rejection, the Congress organisers will refund the full registration fee only upon receipt of the official refusal document from the Embassy.

We urge all participants to keep in mind that a visa application may take some time to be processed and should, therefore, be initiated early enough to ensure it is granted before the Congress begins.

ACCESSIBILITY

Sessions will be interpreted as required in International Sign (IS) and in French Sign Language (LSF), French and English.
Ordinary Member's sign language interpreters

National associations are encourage to bring their own sign language interpreters - up to two (2) people for each registered national association.
National associations who bring their own sign language interpreters are responsible for all costs, including professional fees, travel, lodging and meals.

Participants are invited to declare special needs:

Personal assistant /personal sign language interpreter

If you are planning to bring your personal assistant or personal sign language interpreter to the Congress, please contact the Congress Office by email at [email protected] to apply for a free official pass for this assistant/ interpreter.

The organisers reserve the right to approve or reject acceptance of such request.

Registrants who attend the Congress with their personal assistant or personal interpreter are responsible for all costs involved including professional fees, travel, lodging and meals. Registrants must also still pay all registration fees for themselves.

Headsets for translation

If you are a hearing person, you will be asked to indicate if you will need a headset for oral translation.

Dietary requirements

Participants are invited to specify if they have specific dietary requirements. The congress will accommodate vegetarian meals and gluten free meals upon request.

CANCELLATION POLICY FOR REGISTRATION

All cancellations must be notified in writing to [email protected] according to the following policies. Any reimbursement will be processed AFTER the Congress:

Up to May 15, 2019: 100 Euros will be withheld for administrative fee
From May 16, 2019: no refund

In case of a visa request rejection, the organisers will refund the full registration fee only upon receipt of the official refusal document from the Embassy.

Modifications / Name Substitutions

For changes in registration, a processing fee of 25€ will be charged, except for name substitutions which will be treated as new registrations.

All changes must be requested in writing to the Organising Secretariat.

INSURANCE AND LIABILITY DISCLAIMER

FNSF – Fédération Nationale des Sourds de France (French National Federation of the Deaf) – and MCI cannot be held liable for any hindrance or disruption of Congress proceedings arising from political, social, health or economic events or any other unforeseen incidents beyond their control.

Congress cancellation policies shall apply in all cases. A participant's registration entails acceptance of the cancellation policies. It is recommended that participants obtain travel, health, accident and cancellation insurance before they depart from their countries.

The FNSF – Fédération Nationale des Sourds de France and MCI as organisers will accept no liability for personal injuries sustained by, or for loss or damage to property belonging to Congress participants and accompanying persons either during or as a result of the Congress or events.
